Brief update : The subject case was taken up before the trial at bar to continue the evidence of the second witness of the prosecution. In addition to the second witness, two other witnessess were present in court. Today the evidence in chief of the second witness of the prosecution was concluded. All together 54 CCTV footages related to the Shangrila bomb blasts were shown to first and the second witnesses of the prosecution and were marked as evidence by the prosecution. The said 54 footages were re shown to the second witness to allow him to identify the two people who had come to the hotel on 19/04/2019. The witness identified the movements of the two people in the 54 cctv footages and he also identified them in the four photos which he had previously identified and placed his signature to that effect.
Next date : The case will be taken up tomorrow (19/10/2023) at 1.00pm for the cross examination of the second witness by the lawyers of the Accused.
