Brief update: The subject case was taken up before the Trial at Bar for the evidence of the 17th witness (witness no: 1025).
The 17th witness is a cab driver. His evidence revealed that on 20th of April 2019 two suicide bombers were gone to Shangri-la in Colombo from panadura by the buddy van driven by 17th witnesse. Relevant CCTV footage also showed in the court. Through this witness the Prosecution marked mobile phone detail reports (analysis report) as evidence. The evidence in chief & cross examination were concluded. Prosecution informed the court that they do not intend to re- examine.
Court ordered to issue the summons to 155th witness to be present before the court on 11th December 2023, 174th & 176th witnesses to be present before the court on 12th December 2023 and 183rd & 177th witnesses to be present before the court on 13th December 2023.
Next date: The case will be taken up on the 11th of December 2023, 12th of December 2023 and 13th of December 2023 at 1.00 p.m for further trial.
