The case was taken up before the Trial-at-Bar, with all accused present except the 17th accused, who is deceased.
All accused were represented in court.
The state counsel informed that the high court case record is currently with the registrar of the Supreme Court and that a case number has not been assigned yet to the appeal. Court requested for the Attorney General’s department to take steps to expedite the process if possible and to get a direction from the Supreme Court on the way forward.
Thus, the matter is to be called once again on the 14th of May 2025
