-1st Accused Hijaz Hezbollah and 2nd Accused Mohomad Shakeed appeared in the court.
-Prosecution Witness No. 77 was unable to appear due to illness. The Court and all parties had been informed of this in advance.

-The Court ordered that summons be re-issued to Prosecution Witness No. 77.
-The newly assigned High Court Judge stated that he had previously served in Colombo High Court No. 8 and is personally familiar with the 1st Accused as a practicing lawyer in both the High Courts and Districts Court of Colombo.
-Therefore, the learned Judge informed the parties that on the next date he will announce whether he will proceed to record the testimony in this case before him.
