When this case was taken up today, ASP Saman Perera was summoned to give evidence in the trial of the case tomorrow.
The Additional Solicitor General, President’s Counsel Haripriya Jayasundara requested the Defense Counsel’s to consider the document submitted proposing the admissions. However, two attorneys at law informed the court on behalf of their clients that they have not received such admissions. Accordingly, the court ordered that the relevant document be provided to the said attorneys via email today itself.
Next Dates: The trial will commence on 27th November 2025 from 9.45 am to 5 pm. The case will be called again on December 1st at 1.30 pm.
