144th Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

All the accused were present before the court except the 17th accused who has passed away and the 10th accused who is admitted to the hospital.
The counsel for the 12th and 13th accused was not present before the court. The other accused appeared in person.
The prison authorities have tendered a letter stating that the 10th accused is still in the prison hospital and not fit enough to be present before the court. A letter of the prison doctor was also attached there.
The court directed the prison authorities to take the 13th accused to his clinic on the 23-02-2026 and also to produce four accused before High Court of Puttlam on the 20-02-2026.
The accused were given the certified copies of the proceedings without cost.
Next Date: 24-02-2026 at 10.00am for further trial.
