159th Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

Except the 13th and 17th accused, all the accused were present before the court today.
PW 507, 509, 511, 512, 514, 515, 517, 518, 519, 520, 521, 522, 523, 524, 525 and 526 was present before the court today. However, PW 508, 510, 513 and 516 was not present even though summons were issued.
All the witnesses were victims of the Easter Sunday attack. The witnesses testified to the attack, the injuries and loss of lives due to the attack. None of the witnesses were cross- examined.
The court issued summons to PW 527 to 536 to be present before the court tomorrow.
Since the 23rd accused has a clinic tomorrow, the court will commence at 10.30 am for the further trial.
The next hearing is scheduled for 20th March 2026 at 10.30 a.m.
