160th Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

Except the 17th accused, all the accused were present before the court today.
PW 528, 530, 531, 532 and 536 were present before the court today. However, PW 527, 529, 533, 534 and 535 were not present even though the summons were issued. PW 527, 529, 534 and 535 have migrated and 533 is in O/L paper marking duties.
All the witnesses were victims of the Easter Sunday attack. The witnesses testified to the attack, the injuries and loss of lives due to the attack. The counsel for the 12th and 13th accused cross-examined PW 531, 528 and 530.
The court issued summons to PW 538- 540 and 542- 568 to be present before the court on the 23-03-2026.
The next hearing is scheduled for 23rd March 2026 at 10.00 a.m.
