162nd Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

Except the 17th accused, all the accused were present before court today. 12th and 13th accused were represented.
PW 540, 572, 571, 569, 582, 583, 580, 590, 600, 587, 685, 579, 575, 598 and 573 were present before court today.
PW 568 has informed that he was sick, PW 570, 576 and 588 have migrated and the CID reported that for the rest of the accused, the summons could not be served.
All the witnesses were victims of the Easter Sunday attack. The witnesses testified to the attack, the injuries and loss of lives due to the attack. None of the witnesses were cross-examined.
The court issued summons to PW 577, 578, 591, 601-619, 533, 620-627 and 629-636 to be present before court on the 26-03-2026.
The next hearing is scheduled for 26th March 2026 at 10.00 a.m.
