Brief update: The subject case was taken up before the trial at Bar for the evidence of the 7th witness (witness no: 2193) and 8th witness (witness no:1007).
At the time of the Easter Sunday attack the 7th witness was working as the IT manager of the Shangri-la hotel in Colombo and 8th witness was working as the Front office associate of the Shangri-la hotel in Colombo where one of the places that Easter Sunday bomb blasts happened.
The evidence in chief, cross examination and re-examination of the 7th witness & 8th witness were concluded.
Summons were issued to the 1015th witness and 1016th witness to be present before the court tomorrow.
Next date: The case will be taken up on the 16th of November 2023 (Tomorrow) at 1.00 p.m for further trial.
