Brief update: The subject case was taken up before the trial at Bar for the evidence of the 6th witness (witness no: 1008). At the time of the Easter Sunday attack the witness was working as the front office manager of the Shangri-la hotel in Colombo where one of the places that Easter Sunday bomb blasts happened.
The evidence in chief, cross examination and re-examination of the 6th witness were concluded.
Today, the 1007th witness was also present in the court. The court advised the 1007th witness to come to court tomorrow. Also a summon issued to the 2193rd witness to present before the court tomorrow.
Next date: The case will be taken up on the 15th of November 2023 (Tomorrow) at 1.00 p.m for further trial.
