Brief update: The subject case was taken up before the Trial at Bar to continue the evidence of the 36th witness (witness No:1131), an executive officer in charge of security in Cinnamon Grand Hotel.
The trial was conducted without the 23rd accused as he was absent and a lawyer represented him. The jailor has submitted a report regarding his medical condition.
The witness identified the bomber coming to Cinnamon Grand Hotel on the 17th and 20th of April, 2019. The CCTV footages in the Cinnamon Grand Hotel and Crescent Shopping Mall were marked. The evidence – in-chief of the witness was not concluded.
The court advised witness no. 1131, 1110 and 2195 to be present before the court on 14th February, 2024.
The court issued summons to witness no.1104, 1106, 1107, 1059, 1112, 1128 and 1105 to be present before the court on the 15th February 2024.
Next date: The case will be taken up on 14th and 15th of February 2024 at 1.00 p.m for further trial.
