The Prosecution Witnesses bearing numbers 386, 398, 453, 454, 470, 623, 642, 647, 661, 663, 671, 674, 670, and 678 were called before the Honourable Court today.
The witnesses were connected via a virtual platform (zoom) from Katuwapitiya Town Hall.
The said witnesses were the surviving victims of the 2019 Sri Lanka Easter bombings, specifically the Katuwapitiya Church bomb blast. The evidence in chief of the witnesses were taken but no witnesses were cross-examined.
Further, the Prosecution Witnesses bearing numbers 394, 395, 396, 397, 399, 400, 401, 402, 405, 679, 680, 681, 682, 684, 687, 688, 689, 691, and 692 were summoned to be present at Katuwapitiya Town Hall on 09 April 2026 at 10.00 a.m. for the purpose of giving evidence.
