169th Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

The Prosecution Witnesses bearing numbers 395, 495, 692, 402, 431, 394, 488, 441, 492, 679, 401, 423, 491, 680, 502 and 655 were called before the Honourable Court today.
The witnesses were connected via a virtual platform (Zoom) from Katuwapitiya Town Hall.
The said witnesses were the surviving victims of the 2019 Sri Lanka Easter bombings, specifically the Katuwapitiya church bomb blast. The evidence in chief of the witnesses were taken but no witnesses were cross-examined.
Further, the Prosecution Witnesses bearing numbers407-419,421,422 and 424-429 were summoned to be present at Katuwapitiya Town Hall on 10th day of April 2026 at 10.00 a.m. for the purpose of giving evidence.
Next Date: 10 April 2026 at 10.00 a.m. for further trial.
