Venue: Special Permanent Three-Judge High Court (Trial-at-Bar), 2nd Floor, MCC Building, Adhikarana Mawatha, Colombo 12.
At the commencement of proceedings, Court was scheduled to begin the Voir Dire inquiry of the 12th Accused. However, it was informed to Court that the 12th Accused was suffering from an eye disease and was therefore unable to proceed with the inquiry. In light of the medical condition of the 12th Accused, Court ordered that the commencement of the Voir Dire inquiry related to the 12th Accused be temporarily suspended. Accordingly, the Court directed that the Voir Dire inquiry related to the 25th Accused be commenced on the next date.
Next Date: 25th of May 2026 at 10.00 a.m. for Commencement of the Voir Dire inquiry of the 25th Accused.
