210th Day of the Main Easter Attack Trial – HC (TAB) 2972/21

Venue: Special Permanent Three-Judge High Court (Trial-at-Bar), 2nd Floor, MCC Building, Adhikarana Mawatha, Colombo 12.
All the accused, except the 17th accused who has passed away, were present today. The 1st, 2nd , 7th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 19th and 20th to 25th accused were represented and the others appeared in person. PW 1411, 181, 274 and 180 were present before the court.
PW 1411 is a security officer who worked in Lucky Plaza and he gave evidence as to the vehicle details entered by him regarding the vehicle bearing no. PJ 4080 and the note he made regarding an unusual incident of that vehicle. The note book and the relevant pages and notes of the book were marked.
PW 181 is a director of the company from which the van bearing no. PJ 4080 was bought. The witness gave evidence regarding the sale of the vehicle, payments made, vehicle registration documents and such were also marked.
PW 274 is a bank officer of Commercial Bank and he gave evidence regarding the payment made to purchase PJ 4080 and the deposit slip and the driving license of the buyer were marked.
PW 180 is an employee of Edirisinghe Cushion who works in Nittambuwa branch. He gave evidence as to the services provided by their company to PJ 4080 in installing cushions. The relevant documents relating to that transaction were marked.
None of the witnesses were cross-examined. The court issued summons for 22nd, 23rd and 24th of June.
