All the accused, except the 17th accused who has passed away and 13th accused who is attending a clinic, were present today. The 2nd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 19th and 20th to 25th accused were represented and the others appeared in person.

– Proceedings dated 19-08-2026- dock statement of the 13th accused
– Proceedings dated 19-08-2026- dock statement of the 02nd accused
– Proceedings dated 19-08-2026- dock statement of the 04th accused
– Proceedings dated 20-08-2026- dock statement of the 05th accused
– Proceedings dated 20-08-2026 by the 09th accused
– Proceedings dated 24-08-2026 by the 11th accused
The court directed the registrar to send the original case records brought from Mount Lavinia magistrate court, Fort magistrate court, Kegalle high court, Mawanella magistrate court, Kuliyapitiya magistrate court and Batticaloa high court back to the same courts after taking a clear copy of the marked documents.
The accused asked for another hearing date before the date for the filling of the written submission since they need to meet each other and their counsels to prepare the written submission.
