Brief update : The subject case was taken up before the trial at bar for the cross examination of the third witness of the prosecution who was a security supervisor. Today the counsel for the 5th and 16th and counsel for the 6th and 13th accused cross examined the witness and counsels for the 14th and 25th accused informed the Court that they have no questions. Re-examination of the third witness was also concluded today.
During the re-examination the third witness clarified that there can be instances where the CCTV footage contains wrong dates and times.
Next dates : The case will be taken up on
the 31st of October 2023, 1st of November 2023 and 2nd of November 2023 at 1.00 p.m for further trial.
